Extreme MakeOver Home Edition

This past week the Extreme MakeOver Home Edition came to Indianapolis to build a home for a family on the East side. This show is going to be the 2 hour season finale on May 17th. It was pretty exciting to have the whole crew here working on a home. It went to a really good cause and brought people from all over to a neighborhood that they normally wouldn't go to.

My mom and dad came up to spend the night on Friday and we all went to see the house. The street the house was on was blocked off and you had to walk a good distance to get to it. Not a good thing since my mom is still in a cast from her broken ankle so she was hobbling along. So, we parked on the street over and hoped we could somehow find a shortcut. Well, we did :)

There were two abandoned houses next to each other and they were directly behind the home that was being built. We walked thru the yard and ended up right behind the house. It was a really nice home and we got as close as we could to the caution tape. Then we got ran out by a security guard...people weren't supposed to be in the back at all. So, we got to get closer then any other people looking on and got to see the suprise in the backyard :)

It was a really fun experience and just neat to see all the excitement going on for the television show. So, don't forget to watch the finale!
