May 12 & 13, 2008

Today we left the indianapolis airport around 2pm. From there we changed planes at the Washington Dulles airport and took off on our first overseas flight. The flight wasn't too bad because we were tired so we pretty much slept the entire time. We arrived in Frankfurt Germany and had to rush to our flight to Rostov. At first when we got to Rostov-on-don we were very nervous because we were in a different area then we thought we were going to be in. It was a huge relief when we saw our driver and translator waiting on us.

They took us to our hotel, Hotel Rostov, and we settled in for the night. We decided to just go to a restaurant in the hotel since we were exhausted. We had a slight problem with the bill because we didn't have any roubles only credit cards. This is where we realized that there was definitely a language barrier and would be a very interesting experience. After bed we went straight to bed. Can't wait to meet our boy tomorrow!
